At CUT GRIND POLISH, we stand by every product we sell. We carefully select tools that meet our strict quality standards, and we back them with a straightforward warranty. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
30-Day Limited Warranty
CUT GRIND POLISH warrants all diamond tools purchased directly from our store to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that result in the product being unusable or not performing as designed. Specifically, this warranty covers:
Segment Loss: If a diamond segment separates from the steel core or body of the tool due to a weld or bond failure during normal use, the tool will be replaced at no charge.
Manufacturing Defects: If a tool is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship that causes it to fail prematurely or renders it unusable, the tool will be replaced at no charge.
Product Failure: If a tool stops functioning as intended under normal operating conditions and proper application before the end of its expected useful life, CUT GRIND POLISH will evaluate the tool and replace it if the failure is determined to be a manufacturing issue.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
Diamond tools are consumable products that wear down through normal use. This warranty does not cover:
Normal Wear and Tear: Diamond segments are designed to wear down during cutting, grinding, and polishing. A tool that has been used and worn through its expected lifespan is not covered.
Misuse or Improper Application: Damage caused by using a tool on a material it was not designed for, using incorrect equipment, or failing to follow recommended operating guidelines is not covered.
Improper RPM or Operating Speed: Tools operated at speeds outside of the manufacturer's recommended RPM range are not covered. For example, core bits should be run at 3,000 to 3,450 RPM for best results and longest life.
Improper Use of Water: Certain tools require wet use only. Bridge saw blades, for example, must be used with water. Damage caused by dry use on a wet-only tool is not covered.
Abuse, Neglect, or Alteration: Tools that have been modified, altered, or subjected to conditions beyond normal use are not covered.
Damage During Shipping After Purchase: If a tool is damaged in transit after delivery to the customer (for example, during transport to a job site), this is not covered under warranty. However, if a tool arrives damaged from our shipment, please see our return policy for a replacement.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact CUT GRIND POLISH by phone, text message, or email within 30 days of your purchase date.
Step 2: Provide your order number and a description of the issue. Photos of the defective tool are helpful and may speed up the process.
Step 3: Our team will evaluate the claim. In most cases, we can make a determination based on photos and your description of what happened.
Step 4: If the claim is approved, we will ship a replacement tool at no charge. In some cases, we may ask that the defective tool be returned for inspection before a replacement is sent. Return shipping for warranty claims is the responsibility of the customer.
Limitation of Liability
The obligation of CUT GRIND POLISH under this warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product. CUT GRIND POLISH is not responsible for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use any product. This includes, but is not limited to, lost wages, project delays, damage to materials being worked on, or equipment damage. The maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
Proof of Purchase
All warranty claims require proof of purchase. This can be your order confirmation email, invoice, or order number from the CUT GRIND POLISH website. Claims submitted without proof of purchase or outside the 30-day warranty period cannot be honored.
