Return policy

At CUT GRIND POLISH, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward 30-day return policy.


30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. This applies to all products purchased directly from CUT GRIND POLISH. Returns requested after 30 days cannot be accepted.


Eligible Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition you received it — unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You will also need your order number or proof of purchase.

We accept returns for any reason, including if you simply changed your mind or ordered the wrong item. There are no restocking fees.


Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@cutgrindpolish.com or call us at 973-692-7165. Orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled for a full refund. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will need to follow the standard return process below.


How to Start a Return

All returns are handled by mail. We do not accept walk-in returns at our location. To start a return, follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact us at support@cutgrindpolish.com or call 973-692-7165 within 30 days of receiving your order. Let us know your order number and the reason for the return.

Step 2: Once your return is approved, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.

Step 3: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it using the label provided.

Step 4: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund.

Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting and receiving return approval will not be accepted.


Return Shipping

For standard returns (changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For defective or damaged items, CUT GRIND POLISH will cover return shipping — see the section below for details.


Defective or Damaged Items

Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If your item is defective, damaged during shipping, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at support@cutgrindpolish.com. To expedite the process, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damage or defect.

Step 2: Our team will review your claim and respond within 1–2 business days.

Step 3: If approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

Step 4: Once we receive the item, we will ship a replacement of the same product at no charge. If the item is out of stock, we will issue a full refund instead.

For tools that fail during use due to a manufacturing defect (such as segment loss), please refer to our Warranty Policy for coverage details.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you need a different item, the fastest way is to return your original purchase following the process above and place a new order for the item you need. No restocking fees apply.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on your order, no shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at support@cutgrindpolish.com.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

— Custom or special order products made to your specifications
— Gift cards
— Items that have been used, installed, or show signs of wear
— Items returned without prior authorization
